We had a one-day stay during a trip. The rooms were big, but worn out. It is in this season to be renovated.
The bathroom was a disaster, the fixtures arrived and the mold smell was coming through. Everything in the room was quite musty. The service at the beach and in the restaurant was rude. German should you not be taken for granted, rather Italian. The food was varied and good dining. The atmosphere I can confirm. If you like Italian radical temperament, is there well waived. I was resting with his wife in the hotel Coral Sea Imperial (Sharm, Egypt) in the period from 11 to April 18, 2010 under All Inclusive, Standard Room Sea view (operator: Coral Travel). The hotel has two restaurants, serving guests at the "Swedish table», Pharaoh and Tiran. Both restaurants offer the same set of dishes, but they differ in both interior and quality service. This hotel had already had its best days. Last year the hotel changed hands and also the name of the hotel got changed (former CONARD- good to know, as many taxidrivers still knew this name). At first sight everything seeemed okay, but when taking a closer look, flaws in all areas became apparent. We still don't know according to which criteria this hotel was awarded 5 stars.
It deserved 3 at the most.

Tough the hotel wasn't new, the buildings and the pool areas were in good condition. But the 5 stars national standard can't compete with the international standard: so for example the plaster in the bathroom was slightly damaged, the closets were not the most modern ones. But still everything was clean and worked properly.

I suppose this would have been a nice few days, But a friend of mine had things stolen from his room and upon complaining to the managment recieved no help or response what so ever, I would have thought a hotel like this one would care about its security so the fact that no action was taken is a discrace.
