I have stayed in several hotels in NY and the cleanliness to praise this house! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Is within easy walking distance to the Empire State Building, Times square, etc. Chrisler an added bonus: right across the street, in the bread and butter breakfast you can find super or dinner. The hotel is very centrally located in Manhattan, so that all the major sights you can easily within walking distance. The room was spacious and very clean and well maintained. As we were in a room with shared bathroom had booked we had to shower and the toilet to take a floor (was not so ideal-but very clean!). There are also rooms with a private bathroom, but they were fully booked and much more expensive. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. The hotel punkted UNIQUELY identified by its central location right on the 29th street, corner of Park Avenue and middle of Manhattan. Access to the metro is a 5 -minute walk to. Good hotel in top location, everything can be done by foot, we were 5 days, hotel was perfect, hotel can be thoroughly recommended. Only drawbacks were: 1 . Our room faced the interior, the wall opposite was only about 1 meters away so we had no daylight (didn't matter though, we were only in the room to sleep), 2 . The room was very dated, very flowery wall paper and such, however i heard as we were leaving that they were updating "next year" which will have been 2 years ago, so should be better now.

(at the time that was about £20) Hotel Deaville is in a nice location, it far enough from the centre to avoid all the noisy hustle and bustle, but its not too far to walk. - in April 10
