The hotel Deutscher Kaiser in the heart of Baden-Baden offers a very good value for money and is a good idea for people on business trip as well as for those vacation at private. The central location allows the car (hotel garage is highly recommended), the staff is friendly, the room and the breakfast are spotless. Read more

The hotel had private on-site parking which was very convenient. However, the charge was 10 euros instead of the 5 euros per day advertised on booking.com. The parking rate is reasonable but the hotel should update its details on the booking websites because it appeared to be misleading. Children under 8 stayed for free which was nice but just a note that they charge kids for breakfast. Even small children including infants were charged the city tourist tax. It's not much but I'm not sure if this is valid because it's very unusual in Germany... Read more
