We were looking for a cheap hotel and we do not have any great expectations had or so, but from our side of this hotel is not recommendable at all. The first time we were upset us, as we wanted to park, because at the time of booking we were told that we get a car park, we were there and then they said, though the parking lot is full, it is full, so unlucky. A big city hotel in the immediate vicinity of the train station ostendstraße, therefore very easy to reach. Overall the hotel is a bit worn, with the style of 70er-years. The breakfast is rather sparse, and somewhat small breakfast room. The price/performance ratio was good overall. Read more

That was partly renovated 2005 the hotel, there was the badly in a very bad condition (door didn't close, toilet seat was loose, sink several cracks, broken tiles). The beds were very worn and rückenmordend. In the closet was only a shelf available, which for the laundering of the three persons was not high enough. Furthermore, the hotel is very loud. The hotel was very dirty, toilet jump was stuck but I have no idea what the sink as well as the bathtub were very dirty in addition it smelled unpleasant in the entire hotel. The beds were so worn out that you thought was a large sule, in addition one had the furniture with response so that it does not fall apart. The structural condition of the hotel left a lot to be desired (broken windows, doors, outside advertising, etc.). We only stayed for 1 night at the hotel Diplomat. A car can be inexpensive for 5 euro per day in the hotel's locked parking for guests who wish. We did it in 10 minutes leisurely stroll into the center of town. Otherwise S-train connection about 50 meters away from the hotel. The rooms are very small. Old furnishings.
