The hotel in general
The Alpine holiday village - consisting of a main building and 10 traditional mountain chalets - nestles among the woods and mountain pastures at the foot of the ski and hiking paradise of Monte Elmo, which is just a few minutes’ walk away.

Hotel location
The Post Alpina 4-star Chalet is at Versciaco near San Candido. Situated right next to the Monte Elmo ski lifts, its position makes it an extraordinary paradise for cyclists, mountain bikers, downhill and cross-country skiers, hikers and for families in general. The comfortable apartments in Tyrolese style, from the Familia Residence to the Chalet Montana, vary in size from 35 m² to 120 m² and are just as comfortable as a 4-star hotel.

Gastronomy in the hotel
At the family hotel, along with simple dishes and menus for connoisseurs, the “Post Alpina theme evenings” are real gastronomic events – a real must for a children’s vacation in South Tyrol .
Services:

Halfboard:
as we only have a certain number of tables which are reservated for the halfboard, we kindly ask our guests to do a reservation for the halfboard in advance.
Restaurant:
in the evening our cook prepares wonderful typical dishes, we don't take reservations for the tables.
Lunch:
at lunchtime our restaurant is closed. We offer a small snack-list which you will find in our bar-area.
Take away:
order the food that you like in the morning and you will get the dishes to the appartement in the afternoon. In the evening when you get back from your day-excursion you can simply put the dish into the microwave and dinner will be ready.
Farmers Breakfast:
Every day you can get the breakfast (bread, butter, jam and milk) delivered to your appartement. So you can take you time and have breakfast whenever you want to.
