According to the reviews we expected the worst but were really very pleasantly surprised by the hotel, for a cheap holiday, it is highly recommended! The rooms are clean, the food is good, varied and plentiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The short walk to the beautiful beach/Promenade and to the shopping possibilities in the hotel were friendly. We had a lovely week there in the next year and will definitely stay there again! The quality and taste of the food was inedible. Even the staff knows that! To choose one almost the same every day. After seven days can you not see more.
Rooms could use a renovation. Beds were shaky totally.

The hotel was dirty, uncomfortable and smelled it has it was. The are only a few points. The best proof the shed or completely renovate. Each day the same breakfast and even the has disgusting smell! Absolutely no variation. We have only twice in the hotel to evening ate. Disgusting. I do not like the english so what day for day reinziehen could.
Conclusion: this hotel never, never again and let you do not persuaded by the travel agent as we it have done. It is terrible! The area is, in my opinion, very beautiful. lots of shopping etc.. Read more

Chairs are very old and there is danger of collapse. Think in comparison with other three stars hotel is not so good. Two 1/2 star gets it from me.

My girlfriend and I have a 7-days holiday in hotel Jaimie booked with half board in the centre of Granada. We have us already before the trip evaluations read again the food was criticized wherever. We enjoyed our stay at the Don Jaime, but feel that the hotel does not listen to peoples complaints, food, not brilliant but we enjoyed all our meals (we are not fussy eaters) we could alway's find something nice.

Resort lovely, pool area nice, FOOD, my god, of every holiday we have had this has been by far the worst, breakfast wasexactly the same every day, poached eggs, scrambled, half cooked bacon, beans, scabby sausages, one toasting machine for whole restaurant, lunch and dinner were the same every day only a different colour, chewy scabby pork chops for dinner one night then the same covered in batter for lunch next day, what wasnt used one day was recycled the next, and so on every day for the week we stayed, very bland, yuk, sick of eating the same food, the manager in the restaurant a youngish german woman is the most miserable person ever, watches everything you do slyly, if you dont put spoons back perfectly chef goes mad and bangs them down which he did to lots of people, everyone was complaining about the food, snack time consisted of cheese and ham dry sarnies, dry muffins, and fruit, no ice cream for kids at all, no chips, nothing kids would eat just the scabby same sarnies and fruit every snack time every day, SOL`E behind the bar was great, cheerful and friendly with the kids especially, i think she was the only member of staff that actually smiled and spoke, martin tried to entertain guests at times but other than that theres nothing good to say about it.

Yup we have a sense of humour and enjoyed our week in Cala Millor a lovely resort totally unspoilt by the flash floods which hit the rest of the island during our stay.

left on side road bus driver says thats you and drives off, single room very small room,room 421 water in roof drips all day and night and is quite loud they did not care as hotel full, was with a disabled person and put on 4th floor lift very small and broke while i was there and just said you will have to wait till fixed. - in October 09

The door on the lift banged every time people got out which meant we were wakened constantly, the gym that was supposed to be there was closed of our bed sheets were never changed it was a total nightmare, had it not been for the lovely people we met there of the nice and very nice and put upon staff ( minus the woman serving the food) I would never holiday abroad again even the seasoned travellers were disgusted by the hotel and the people we left behind still on there holidays asked us if we could smuggle them out in our suitcase, so please on behalf of Brian and Angie and a good deal more nice people we met out there including the lovely local people avoid this hotel like the plague.

It is in an excellent location just a short walk (3mins) to the beach and shops/restaurants, the resort is quiet so if you are looking for clubbing or lots for kids to do I would not recommend it, if you want a quiet holiday, resturants and quiet bars then it is ideal.

The journey to get us to the hotel was a nightmare(that's for another review page), we arrived around midnight and were greeted by a very helpful gentleman, he arranged for us to have to some snacks sent up to our room along with a jug or 2 of wine and sangria, what more could you ask for? We had read all the negative reviews about the place so out expectations were quite low - we were extremely surprised when we came down for breakfast to find an array of food all looking good, all the hotel staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. - in May 10

Bar area - quite good, drinks come in 200ml plastic cups but are unlimited and decent beer and drinks as much as you want and little or no queues. - in June 10
