Very dark Hotel, where the hygiene leaves a great deal to be desired (bed full of bugs!). Bathroom was very small, the shower partition was missing and the mains water is reversed, left cold water and hot water-without labelling laws, now, if you are after the first shower you can tell it is burned! The furnishings are all very dirty, we have no towel nowhere to add insult to injury-absolutely disgusting. Very central; although somewhat hidden, located hotel with a nice local feel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well-kept Hotel. Breakfast not great but adequate. Very friendly front desk. Although standard room we were given a room upgrade to a junior suite. Hotel in Andalusian style venez palazzo. Rather dark room, but authentic. The hotel is located at a small by-pass channel. You can get there by water taxi. The reception makes a very fancy and very well-kept impression. Guests came from Europe and the USA and were between 30 and 60 years old.
The house dates back to the 16th century (!) and was rebuilt into a hotel five years ago.
