The hotel is a member of the historic hotels in the USA and has also a certain charm. The typical New England style, in the nice rocking chairs on the long balcony.
It is very dependent on the car. In the immediate vicinity there is a golf course and a dense forest. The hotel has a restaurant. The staff are all nice and friendly. The rooms are, by the age due charming, but quite small. But everything is very clean and well maintained. Historic hotel 1879 on the edge of Jackson. Typical architecture in the style of the great Winter sports and Grand hotels in the US. Inviting lobby with a library, Kaminraum, Giftshop, bar and restaurant. We had a suite on the 1 . Floor with a large living room with sofa bed and a separate bedroom with a huge double bed. This is a very nice historic hotel on a top location. Located above the town - very quiet
We had a standard room with courtyard view - the room was medium size, beds from Oma times: high and comfortable, but not worn. For a hotel of this quality needs a major renovation. But: the old furniture has its charm. I was very comfortable there.
Everything perfect - the room was at 4 pm ready to move into.
