The Suite Hotel Eden Mar, belongs to the Vila Porto Mare resort, and shares facilities which are common to other too outlets – Hotel Porto Mare and The Residence; however, the character of each one of these is guaranteed by individual receptions and different room types.
The Vila Porto Mare gardens represent one of the most interesting botanical oases in Madeira. The 13,400m2 of subtropical gardens with more than 400 unique botanical species identified with individual explanatory tags make this green area a real paradise.

Unfortunately, our room was with balcony right over the parking lot of a supermarket, which is for background noise and made-despite direct view of the sea. The hotel lies on the lido. Around to other places or to the city to get to the port, you must clamber the busy main road. Who is handicapped or parents with buggy tours: here you to hills high. The hotel is located in the very touristic Lido area. There is no access to the sea and in the area the sea is barely visible. The garden is beautiful, but in relation to the number of hotel rooms on the small side, so that the beach chairs were very close to each other around the pools are. The regular evening entertainment echoed through the whole area, so that peace and quiet on the balcony impossible. The staff was often stressed and not very attentive.
