A lot was already written about this hotel. Our rating was simply: Good The size and the furniture in the rooms were in order. However they were older and partly slightly in need of renovation. Our daughter was glad about her complete bed. The staff friendliness: Good Foreign language: Good Room cleaning: Good In the hotel there was a hairdresser, washing machine and a heated indoor pool. The hotel was located in north Mallorca, with the airport in the south, distance ca. 60 km. We had booked a private transfer, since we didn't want to lose time with the TUI bus, in case these brought other tourists to other hotels still. For the drive we needed ca. 60 min., cost 70 Eur for 3 persons, booked over www. galitransmallorca.com, we could recommend it. Hotel in genaral was very nice, clean, a good sized complex, rooms were cleaned daily. reception staff were very helpfull and easy to talk to. Only down side was the over all nationality of the hotel, it was mostly for German customers, had Thomas Cook told us this then we could have had the choice to book a different hotel, but it seems they like to leave out all the small details. We spent 5 days in early June in the Eden Playa with our two kids (3 and 4 years). The hotel was perfect for them - the Mini-disco was the absolute hit (we had to make sure to be back from dinner by 20: 30pm to not miss it!!) The access to the beach is fantastic (glas panels to keep the wind and sand away from the pool) and the pool area is spacious. The water was still a bit cold in early June, though. ... from the airport to the Eden Playa Hotel is only about 60km (very short, unlike our last vacation). Takes about 1.15h. Unfortunately we didn't use the buses to the city. The only drawback is the evening entertainment in the common room. It was basically the same every time. But nevertheless it was always still very fun.
