The Eiger Swiss Quality Hotel has been owned and managed by our family since it was built in 1886. It has been extended, completely renovated and at the same time upgraded. Today, it is an attractive
and luxurious hotel with a friendly atmosphere and a personal touch.
All rooms are newly renovated and have bath or shower, WC, hairdryer, TV, radio, telephone with computer socket and a desk. ... here is however fantastic. Moonrise beside the Eiger , when you have the time. The sauna is also small and fulfilled the purpose of a Saunariums. The capacity here is however quickly reached. Unfortunately there were also the annoying habit many guests, with towels or bathrobes to block, even if this not at all there are. May but would hangers or similar remedy this situation.... The Hotel Eiger more than met our expectations. From greeting the train to take our bags straight from the train to our room, to the spectacular view, to the helpful, friendly and accommodating staff, everything was just what we hoped and more. A great hotel. I did not expect such a high level of service and friendly staff from a larger hotel (have only experienced in small ones before).
The balcony and the view made the room. The room itself was ok, but with the spectacular views we did not spend much time inside anyway.
The staff was so friendly and honestly seemed to want us to enjoy our stay. You feel like a family member there.
Pay the extra money for the balcony facing the mountains. We did not pay for the half-board meal option and I'm glad we didn't. The menu for that ... Read more

... is nothing like eating great meal and looking out at such a breathtaking view each morning! It is a must see and experience for all!
Great location and views! The Eiger Hotel is right across from the train station as well as the Eiger itself! The views are from a postcard - only better in person. I will never tire of looking at such a great view from this hotel!
WOW! What a great pool. I am not a swimmer at all - but my wife is and she liked the pool very much! I just enjoined 'dog paddling" around and looking out at the great scenery! Read more
