The only nice thing about this hotel was the staff, otherwise awful, the staff has admitted this. Regularly Schle chst gave the food notes, the attempt, the lack of three times with reheated alleged gourmet names is mächtg failed to conceal. Otherwise very sterile equipped. This hotel should be demolished, the view is still very good, therefor should be something new construct, this building is not left to save. Amazing views of the Eiger, worse than elsewhere in Switzerland, overcooked and glutamate contaminates from the bag-nothing for the most demanding palate, run-down room-altogether, the hotel made the impression, when its best days already behind itself-not up-to-date anymore. No one should take this hotel, the value of a friendly service sets. Upon our question after the unüberhör and sehbaren construction site 200m further, we were asked by the lady at the front desk: 'what works'!
The breakfast was awful, cheap cold cuts and cheese, no variation, we were glad, not to have booked half-board.
The bathroom was clean but a long time ago, the last time a renovation. This means dark spots in the corners, the window was not to tilt, facing the Eiger, but you could because of the noisy construction site, no window, si... Read more
