Pure apartment location on the sea of Galilee. Equipment and condition of the rooms remember rather youth hostel, than a hotel-but we knew this before and was therefore okay. Eastern shore is very thin populated. The places for eating are very small-we were one night in Tiberias on the West bank-then but you have to stop again around half the lake. For excursions you need generally in any case a car. The room also has a small kitchen (two burners)- however were no choice pots available. Read more

For families with children. The neighboring Kibuzz offers an interesting tour with a 'train' ( tractor trailers) with, with animals and the banana plantation shows up close. In the Kibuzz excellent seafood restaurant and bar ( at the port). The breakfast room is very spartan, the food but good ( Kosher, no meat or meat). The hotel was located a bit remote directly on the sea of Galilee across the street from Tiberias. There is a bus stop nearby, but we were there with a rental car. The area left nothing to be desired, the front desk staff is professional and helpful, 2 km away there are two to the KIBBUTZ-owned restaurants, where you get 10 % discount and very good food if you wanted, as we did, bed and breakfast.
