Hotel El Convent

Former convent, which can be used as a hotel today. The breakfast is redundant. Coffee from paper cups, toast from the foam plates with plastic cutlery! Our room in the patio was clean but very dark and winzigst. The parking/garage is about 300 meters away. We were glad we had read in the area and only with small luggage (plastic bag) have moved. Unique ambiance, quiet, friendly staff, very Multicultural. Staff speaks good German. Through the location on the island is you eventually hidden from the city hustle and bustle. Good connection, every hour free ship the hotel company. There are 2 islands that were connected to each other. Thus no narrow when swimming, you has a variety of places to to move back. Highly recommended for a city break. We booked through our early booking through expedia for an awesome price. Shops and restaurants are right around the corner. Breakfast buffet for 22 Euro not recommended. There are enough cafes where you can find breakfast. Our room was very small, not much room to get around without stubbed anywhere. For a longer stay, or people with a lot of luggage are the superior room safe better suited. Read more

Huge structure obtained from a monastery / convent set on a private island, 15 min. from Venice. Although lobby is decorated with taste and magnificence, other parts of the 'hotel does not hide the source of the structure ... a convent. For three stars it really is a very beautiful hotel with its own cocktail bar and sauna, commodious rooms a small park pond and very friendly staff. Large commodious rooms with satellite TV- balcony, mini bar and telephone. bathroom with toilet and shower, everything very clean. the staff were very friendly, accommodating and competent.
