The Hotel is under management by an Austrian/ Canadian Couple who will be eager to make your stay the best possible experience.
Hotel location
Located on a hillside in Cañafistula near Tamarindo (Costa Rica) the Hotel overlooks the Cañafistula valley with beautiful views from all Chalets.
We are in the midst of 4 of the most popular and beautiful beaches in the area so our clients do not need to choose just one and have a variety to choose from.
Playa Avellanas, Playa Negra, Playa Junquillal and Tamarindo are all just a few minutes drive away.

Continental breakfast incl. with all bookings.
Wifi internet at pool, looby and bar area.
Infinity pool overlooking the Canafistula valley.
Massage therapist available on request.

At the El Sabanero we try to serve you the best of both worlds.
Local and international foods prepared in with only the freshest ingredients.
Items like Eggs, Milk, Cheese, Beef, Pork and Fish are all bought at local farmers and directly from local fishermen while fruits and vegetables are mostly grown by farmers in our area.
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
The hotel staff will be happy to arrange all Tours for you like Zip lining, Horseback Riding, Snorkeling, Surfing and many more.
Hotel room/Accommodation
The chalets are built out of teak trees grown in the area.
The surrounding tropical gardens add indispensable privacy and peace to each unit.
All chalets feature one queens size bed, privat bathroom, air conditioning, fridge, safe and a private porch equipped with 2 rocking chairs in which you can spend hours reading or enjoying the surrounding nature.
We have double and triple occupancy rooms - singel bed can be added.
