the food was good, but almost every day the same; still satisfied... The apartments are all with balcony, and there was everything we needed (but it will pay extra for tv and safe)... The weather was great and the beach is clean... Perfectly to the recreational facilities... Read more

We have an absolute bargain made for 15 per person and night, but I would have easily. more paid good food and constant change with theme days including drinks in the evening for free. Not too far from the beach, shops and bars. The hotel, however only english on. We were more than impressed Read more

A nice hotel where you can have a nice holiday, but you can only go there when you speak english as 95% english and at the reception on the no one speaks German and I can it not over TUI highly recommend the tour guide you must see in about 1 kilometer away the hotel gardens and Monday Wednesday only because he is to be found there. We have stayed in many hotel on the islands of the Canaries visited. The EL trebol is a typical Spanish apartment hotel with a beautiful pool area with Park four pools, two of them also for infants suitably. Also for severely disabled Rollsthlfahrer suitable. Corresponding apartments and sanitary facilities available. Food was varied and quite. Apartment large and clean. Beach chairs at the pools in sufficient number available, but no cushions and also no umbrellas in the area. In the hotel area were our time almost only english for families... Read more

    • in January 10
Just glad i never took any notice of the moaning gits who want a 5* hotel for 3* prices, what a lovely and friendly place it is we stayed over xmas until new years eve, was by far the best holiday we've had, pools are excellent even if they are cold couldn't keep our 10 yr old out of them, food was of good standard plenty to eat and to my amazement different themed food nights, we had traditional xmas lunch, an Italian, Chinese and Mexican night truly fantastic.
    • in November 09
The holiday was the best I have been on so far.
    • in November 09
Thomas Cook did all the work for us and it made this holiday the best ever.

      Some really good entertainment.
    • in January 11

    • in June 10
we had clears every day making the beda cleanin the floors and so on so i dont no why people say they didnt have clears ,they are very frendly but dont speach english but do try ,we was all inclusive and still had a self caterine kitchen which helped didnt have to do every thing in the bathroom ,the beds was 2 singals which we pushed together the baby had a travel coat which was proveded from the hotel and then there was a pull out bed for the 6 year old to sleep on which is in the living room we just pulled it to the bedroom ,you do have to pay for tv but then your on holiday not there to whatch tv ,the pool area was always clean pools are cold but after sittin in the sun baking it is so nice to get in there kids play pool is fab just you cant get your sun bed around it but then there is another pool for the kids to go in as well and 2 deep pools for the adults , the night entertainment is good they try there best .
    • in July 10
All in all we had a good holiday, having been to Costa Teguise before, but it was sad to see loads of shops and restaurants closed down, all the locals say its because the hotels are all offering all inclusive so no one was going out to eat!
    • in June 10
All said and done we had a good holiday, our first together and will for sure pay 'more' for better next time, next year, as the saying goes 'you get what you pay for'
    • in April 10
My easter holiday at the el trebol was a good holiday but the pools were very cold and in the morning it was windy but was hot in the afternoon.
    • in January 10
As a self-catering holiday i think it was very good.
    • in May 11
Also we had a room each with no supplement - I presume because the hotel was quiet as it was during term time - all added to the good value!
    • in December 10
I felt that we had very good value .
    • in October 10
If you want fancy then maybe this isnt for you but if you are wanting good value, basic accommodation then fair enough.
    • in September 10
Different every night and lunchtime, the only thing I didn't like was that it was like eating in a schools canteen, but good value.
    • in April 10
After reading some very negative reviews I was slightly worried about our stay, but i needn't have been, as for the price we paid on Alpharooms and flying with Ryanair, it was very good value.
    • in November 09
Had some meals out which were good value especialy the Portabello which was Italian down on the sea front Behind the Spa was a super little bar where we were made welcome called Bar Cohiba behind the Spa at the back of the hotel .
    • in February 10
We arrived last Sunday, just back home, had a good week at El Trebol, staff friendly, food ok good choices, entertainment fine, as far as we are concerned it was good value for money, apartments clean but basic.
    • in November 09
So if you are thinking about going to El Trebol and are worried about the negative reviews all i can say is don't be as it is a 3 star not a 5 star in my oppinion it is good value for money your holiday is what you make it and we had a fab time and met some lovely people,.

arrived valentines day nothing romantic about this hovel, should have listened to reviews, don't get me wrong we had a great holiday but its what you make it yourselves good points, apartment was 2bed very spacious but basic, pool area nice but water freezing[ brass monkey comes to mind ].

Overall we had a great holiday as we didnt pay much to stay there and had lovely weather.
    • in May 11
Bar and entertainment was also OK - you need to recognise this hotel for what it is - you are not going to get top class entertainment but the Thomas Cook Entertainment Team worked hard to keep everyone happy.
    • in March 11
i went to the el trebol with my husband and our 2 grandchildren we were up graded from the ficus it was more down graded it was supposed to be 5 star more 2star we were told it was better for children but there was nothing there food was ok some times but didnt cater for young children entertainment ok but ony started late for children .
    • in January 11
Seen some of the entertainment and it was ok suited my 12 years old son however if you don't want to pay ten euros for a photos don't let them put the snakes or birds onto your children as they don't tell you this before they take the photos, the pool was very cold getting into it and you need to keep swimming to get warm was great for us as you never bumped into anyone as we seem to be the only ones in the pool, great location for night entertainment catus jack is worth a visit just next door, and great beaches with 5 mins walk from the appartments , don't take a short cut through the shopping centre as the shop owners will pester you into buying something you don't want or need, overall i would rate these appartments with a nine out of ten
    • in July 10

    • in October 09
Yes they could do with more people on the bar at night, yes the entertainment was a bit repetative, yes the food lacked varity , but for a family based hotel, that is great value for money, in a great location then its a really good choice.
    • in February 11
Myself and boyfriend booked a late booking for a week all-inclusive and for what we paid £630 for the 2 of us we can't really complain, its in a great location which was a bonus however we would not stay here again, the rooms where ok however we couldn,t use our cooker to boil water in a saucepan (no kettles you have to hire then) for a coffee as it blew all the electrics in the room !

The complex is walking distance to all amenities and only about five minutes or so from the lovely beach.
    • in August 10
the one beach you have to walk 15 min to or jump in a cab for 3 euro is at the hotel teguis playa there is a really lovely beach with white sand and clear blue shallow waters ideal for snorkelling and kids are very safe there is other beaches but this one was the best the other one oppisite the hotel was rocky and black sand which cuts your feet and had to step over many rocks in sea very slippy until you can actually stand up in the sea.
    • in January 10
If you get a cheap deal and not fussy about hotel then it is in an absolutly brilliant resort about a 5 min walk to the lovely beach, sea and more bars/restaurantes than you could want all brilliant.
    • in November 09
Close to a good selection of shops and lovely beach ( approx 5mins).
    • in April 10
Also it is a nice walk walking to the beach because there is alot of nice shops to look in and some nice bars to have a beer or a cocktail.
    • in November 09
nice beach only 5 min stroll down the road the apartments are quite central so that was quite a good thing.
    • in November 10
Nice beaches a little walk away but worth it.
    • in April 10
The resort was extremely windy but we found a great resort where the weather was much much warmer and well worth a visit for nice beaches and bars, the resort was Playa Blanca in South of the island.
    • in November 09
Nice beaches 10 minutes walk away but very quiet and cirtainly not for people without children as you would be bored daft.

    • in November 09
Situated in a beautiful area equipped with a supermarket, bars, restaurants and souvineer shops literally just outside, and only a 5 minute walk from the beach.
  • The beach is rubbish

Gastronomy

    • in June 10
the all inclusive drinks had the best range i have seen.
    • in January 10
we couldn't actually take advantage of the all inclusive drinks as the bar area was over run by children at night.
    • in September 10
drinks were fine too, malibo, peach snaps, rum whisky, vodka, beer, wine, cocktails, etc and a whole loads of different juices/pop/milkshakes aswell, these were available all day till 11.

    • in April 11
I'm quite a foody and enjoyed all three meals daily, the breakfast consisted of cooked breakfast, (eggs, bacon, sausages or frankfurters) cereal, fresh fruit (some could be tinned), breads and croissants and fruit juices, there is something for everyone.
    • in January 11
Again, it is not the same waiter service and crisp white tablecloths that you would expect in a UK four star - but the food is good and plentiful with lots of fresh fruit, and fairly good choice.
    • in November 10
The food was the usual AI buffet meals - breakfast full cooked, continental, cereals, fresh fruit, pancakes etc.
    • in September 10
Fresh fruit always on offer with deserts.
    • in October 09
Desserts were either ice cream or other puddings or fresh fruit.

    • in February 11
A good nights entertainment was had at Cactus Jacks, they also do a good breakfast for 2euro.
    • in October 10
This Aparthotel was very basic and the evening meal was just a repeat of menu but cooked differently and disquised to look different there was not enough staff to attend to all the needs, the Breakfast was very good ,the best meal of the day and it could not be faulted.
    • in April 10
Thought breakfast was good - lots of different choices, lunch slightly worse but usually managed to make a filled roll and salad from something and dinner was the worst.
    • in October 09
Food was reasonable, breakfast very good.
    • in September 09
If you like chips with everything then this is the place for you.

    • in July 10
the drinks were ok to drink.
    • in October 10
Also the tea and coffee are served in plastic cups.
    • in August 10
All of the beer is served in iced glasses (much nicer than the plastic cups you get the beer in at the hotel!
    • in July 10
Beer in the hotel if you are not all inclusive is expensive and in small plastic cups whcih disapointed us.
    • in July 10
Drinks at the bar are sold in plastic cups, and if you are AI you can only take 2 away at a time, which was a pain as they only hold a half pint of beer!
    • in December 09
sad if drinking out plastic cups is all you have to worry about.
    • in April 11
The majority of staff are frindley especially Sergio who serves in the outdoor bar through the day what a fab chap he is, you are not restricted to the amount of drinks one person can get, but they are served in plastic cups.
    • in February 11
Entertainment rubbish, drinks served in plastic cups, bar closed at lunch time.
    • in November 10

    • in November 10
Pool snack bar excellent great choice of snacks icecreams and drinks yes they were in plastic cups but it is around a pool with lots of bare feet, never long q's.
    • in October 10
The sunloungers were a bit uncomfortable, and the cups were plastic.
    • in May 11
the worst place i have ever stayed you have to hire every thing from the kettle to mats for the sunbeds drinks are sold in plastic glasses and the beer well the less said the better the only good thing from this holiday was that we met a lovely new friend
    • in March 11
The drinks came in half pint plastic glasses and there was a selection of beer, mixers and local spirits on offer.
    • in March 11
Drinks served in plastic glasses and it looked like people were staying at the complex to try and get their "moneys worth", looking very miserable.
    • in February 11
This was the first time we'd ever had to drink from PLASTIC glasses (small ones too!
    • in November 10
Not a big fan of drinking out of plastic glasses in the piano bar either.
    • in October 10
Bar service good although everything served in plastic glasses which detracts from the overall experience.
    • in September 10

    • in March 11
This was of a good standard, with a wide selection of cooked and cold foods, although the milk was warm (so cereal was a no go).
    • in November 10

Sport & Entertainment

    • in September 10
The pools are cleaned everyday before 8am, and I can guarantee that there was no building work going on when we were there at all and there were definately no men walking around with wheelbarrows.
    • in November 09
Staff were friendly and accomadating, Kds club was brill for my 9yr old, she had a fab time with Anna Banana and Kurly Krissy, Pools cleaned daily were brill for all ages a bit cold at first but it didn't stop my 9yr old jumping in at 9am.
    • in December 09
had a week all inclusive at this hotel , i wasnt expecting 5 star luxury , but what we got was a very average stay , food wasnt the best but we found something at all meal times , hotel its self is decent and has potential to be very good if a bit of freshening up to the facilities was done , immediate are around the hotel looks fairly rundown but the beech nearby was excellent , the pool area was good , and the beer went down a bit to well!
    • in November 09
The pool area is good and them entertainment staff could not be better, genuine and friendly to the point where we now miss them.
    • in October 09

Pools were great, especially the kids splash pool with slides and mini waterslides for little ones and another separate pool for kids which was good.
    • in September 09
Sheets were not changed in a week, towels changed once in a week (yuk) Pools great but food very very poor and choice almost non existent.
    • in February 11
The pool area was lovely but the water was freezing, it took me all my time to paddle with the kids but they seemed to love the water and didn't mind the cold too much.
    • in March 10
this was my second stay at el trebol all inclusive, would defo go back but as self catering food and entertainment a bit lame but great rooms and pool area lovely, situated in a great loaction would recommend to any one x

Lovely pool area, plentiful supply of loungers, nice big balconies, decent choice of options at meal times and only a 5 minute walk to the beach.
    • in April 10
The pools are lovely and a good size although if the weather is not good then the pool's will be freezing!
    • in August 10
The pools were lovely (2 children pools, 2 adult).
    • in March 11
Pool area very nice but can get windy, the area is renown for the windy- breezy teguise is the nick name.
    • in November 10
we were self catering so can t coment on the food, pool area very nice, as they say you get what you pay for £200 each is all we paid a bargain.
    • in February 10
arrived valentines day nothing romantic about this hovel, should have listened to reviews, don't get me wrong we had a great holiday but its what you make it yourselves good points, apartment was 2bed very spacious but basic, pool area nice but water freezing[ brass monkey comes to mind ].
    • in December 09
A mixed group of 9 adults of mixed ages stayed at this hotel for a week and thought the hotel itself was lovely and the pool area was really nice, the hotel itself is a about a 5 or so minute walk and we found a really nice man made beach if you dont mind walking a little bit further round the beach front.
    • in October 09
The pool area was very nice, and the main pool very big.
    • in September 10
The pools and surrounding areas are kept very clean and have plenty of sunbeds around them we found that if you looked around you could find a couple of sunbeds at any time of day.
    • in March 10
I went on a all inclusive holiday here in the first week of march, there was 6 of us with ages ranging from 5 to 67 and we all absolutely loved it, the aparments were great and cleaned daily, good size patios, there's 4 pools, 2 deep and 2 shallow with kiddie slides in one which my kids loved, plenty of space around the pools and plenty of sunbeds, the hotel was at full capacity and yet still didn't feel at all crowded around the pools or in the restaurant, can't complain about the food at all, there was always something we all liked at every meal time, all through out the day there is always something to eat even if its just the a few options in the snack bar, drinks and ice cream always available, staff very friendly and helpfull, none of us could fault this hotel at all and would definatly go back there if we planned another holiday in lanzarote!
    • in April 11
they do charge extra for kettles so bring your own there was plenty of sunbeds made a little bit more comfortable by buying a cheap lilo 4 euro.
    • in April 11
The pool was so cold you could hardley get into the water, if you do stop at the El Trebol then try and get a room at the front of the hotel I was put in the back and you are near to the bars so the noise goes on till after 2am.
    • in March 11
The pool was cold but I managed to swim in it.
    • in November 10
The pool is cold but as its so hot hear you need it to cool down,,, my younger brother n sister (8 an 6) dont mind it an me an my other sister (i'm 17 and she's 14) only really go in too cool down or to lounge on our rings :) most of the people seem fine with it,,, the sun loungers do only have one settin but you cant have everythin,,, the hole place seems clean an its kept tidy,,, the rooms are basic but wen your on holiday you usually spend most of the time out so its fine,,, you do have to rent everythin but there's pans so you can boil water for a brew and there's a fridge so that means you can have cold water anytime,,, the bathrooms are nice an the showers hot,,, the kitchen is small but again on holiday you usually go out,,, its a nice 5 minute walk to the beach and the beach is clean an nice too,,, the best places to eat is cactus jacks and the place next to it with the mona lisa(i dont know wat its called) and legends bar is nice for a drink an a bit of entertainment :) the kids reptile show that was on last night was good an the kids loved it :) the place on a whole is fine,,, not any complaints as of yet but there's still time ha ha :) hope you fine this usefull an I will rite another wen I get home,,, if you do book this go with an open mind an make it wat you want it to be,,, otherwise you wont enjoy it,,, have fun :)
