A very nice three star hotel competently managed. Absolute friendliness of the staff. Everything was very clean and well-kept, tastefully equipped. The restaurant of the hotel with the table assignment of room number was very pleasant. Great view from the room was five of the Elbe and the beautiful promenade. We experienced a extended weekend in a very nice hotel. The location of the Elbe is just great. Behind the hotel was the main street. We felt but hardly any noise, either in the evening, certainly not at night, though the back of our room at this main street was. Everything is just right! nice Hotel, about 1 kilometer outside of bad Schandau, is situated on the main road but still very quiet at night, as virtually no traffic, my room (number 7) was small, but had a nice balcony, very, very friendly staff, very helpful. We opted for our short break in the säschichen Switzerland for the hotel elbpromenade. This family-run hotel is scenic directly at the Elbe. Restaurants and shopping possibilities were about five minutes away in the town center of bad Schandau within walking distance. The rooms could be larger, but very clean and nicely furnished.
