We spent only one night on the way to Denmark in this smart hotel, but we were very impressed. The surrounding area is very quiet, no traffic noise or similar mind. The ferry transports about every 30 Minutes cyclists roll or the one or other car on the Elbe. The 'other' road over the side is only about a cobble-paved street. The children could bathe in the river Elbe and play. The rooms were very nice-all three families have felt very comfortable. Had a large room with view on the Elbe and a very nice, modern bathroom. The furniture differed genially from other renovated hotel. I can't report by mosquitoes, on the contrary: I slept without problem with open windows, the peace here is not bad. The food was good framed level, unfortunately somewhat greasy smell in the restaurant.
For a couple of days you can stand it here (especially on the patio in warmer weather) very good. Read more

The hotel is a trip and therefore busy during warm weather. However, it should not happen, when we arrived around 16 hours that the room is not ready. Although known, one is not advised, nor did they apologized. Room was small and the bathroom because of the slanting roof you could not stand everywhere. Because of the Elbe very many mosquitoes, one had to sleep despite the quiet location with the windows closed.
Conclusion: The most expensive overnight stop on the Elbe Dresden-Magdeburg was the worst. Read more

The rating would come to bad, if I would use all criteria. Transportation is a disaster, the excursion possibilities for the Holperstraße good ( Worliter Park, Dessau testimony of the Bauhaus design and the Junkers-Museum, Wittenberg, ... ) If you stayed at in a place like this, the care "restaurants and bars nearby' hardly. Charming hotel in a beautiful location on the banks of the river Elbe, directly on a small, quiet ferry-easier completely hillside, 'just' terrace! Romantic and very quiet in the middle of the green!
