We were there in summer 2011 in Nuremberg and two nights spent in the hotel elch. It is the oldest Hotel in Nuremberg's (about 700 year old house) the quaint but very nice condition of the house is from the outside to see, which continued at the front desk and especially in the rooms. Because of the buildings age are the dimensions of the rooms of course a bit smaller than in other three star's, the decor is modern style and still. We were already 2009 in a double room on the building roof truss.
The rooms are small but very nicely furnished, bathroom with everything you need and if you complained about creaky floorboards, in a modern hotel just trying to find peace. Read more

The hotel is housed in a newly refurbished very old half-timbered immediate in the old town of Nuremberg in a quiet side street situated. Small and comfortable all rooms were. One of the few hotels, which are by default, feather pillows to sleep there. We felt very comfortable here. Read more
