Had a very nice stay. Room with a view of the market Square. Very friendly staff. Extensive breakfast buffet. Scrambled egg or omelets were freshly prepared. Also in the Anna Amalia restaurant evening meal. Great kitchen and ambiance. Holds, what it promises. Gladly come again. Read more

... star hotel expect. I will be brief, the size, facilities, cleanliness and attention of the room service were left no wishes unfulfilled!
Service/Gastronomy: the service staff at all level was friendly yet stiking, accommodating and helpful. The best support in the touristic Preparation or design in stay by the front and back office I really enjoyed. The breakfast buffet leave nothing to be desired. The in-house fine dining was unfortunately closed. The onsite second restaurant in historic Elephantenkeller I evaluate separately at other Body. Read more

Especially recommendable is the breakfast in the restaurant and here, in particular the egg dishes. Special requests were from the reception implemented immediately. On request worried the front desk best seats in the German theater on the same evening. Thanks for that. When checking out we met the actress Pauline Speidel and played with her dog. To desire leaves however in particular TV. Such a old, small thing for a hotel of this class unworthy. Also a contemporary shower in the bathroom remains a desideratum. Read more
