The hotel is older and was apparently renovated. The standard room for example to the street now, are very small, have however everything you for a short break needs. The einbaukasten was adapted to the room and very small. The bathroom with bath tub, washbasin and toilet was OK., towels were changed daily.
A small safe was also free of charge available, the castle is in the front desk to procure.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast is abundant, there was daily fresh rolls, croissants and cakes.

The hotel lies in the city center of nice. Both the old town, the sea, as well as the train station are on foot easy to reach. The window are only simply vitreous, this is unfortunately the noise from the street to hear. Unfortunately somewhat annoying, especially through the many loud scooters in nice.
Car parking in front of the hotel isn't available. Drivers can use the car-key however in the front desk deliver. The car will be in a hotel parking further outside turned off. Unfortunately the fees for this service is very high. Read more

The ellington is located just a few minutes from the old city away, but not the four star level. Breakfast is delivered and probably the French ideas. The guests were very international and is only for one or two nights of the guests used, then it goes on. The staff is overstrained and seemed annoyed. Yet the rooms good cleaned, but at the front desk you lose the overview. We will at the next time a different hotel. Read more

Very friendly and, above all, helpful front desk is inside, breakfast was very delicious and varied, the location great, good bus connections, for example to monaco and cannes, relatively short footpaths to old city, to place massena and the promenade de anglais etc., many shoppingand entertainment (the cocktail bar is' Pinnochio 'and the restaurant' le maison de marie ' in the city center from nice)-conclusion: ideal for a short get away after nice, again at any time! We were very pleased with the hotel. Very unusual wide the breakfast was subjected to, not as usual usually only croissants and coffee. The rooms small, but clean with daily change of the hand towels. An evening drink in the gemütl. Bar was not too shabby either. Overall good! Read more
