If you are looking for a cheap vacation away from the crowds to spend would like is here correctly. The hotel is modern equipped, but there is in need of renovation. The pool is dated, the beach chairs were only unappetizing to describe. The room and bathroom were cramped, the cleanliness offering a clear view. The food was pretty good. The stay at the Blue Bay can be assessed as a quiet and relaxing, the room furnishings were very good, you get what you pay for. Location and views are very good, good bathing in plaka and elounda, for a bracing is the hotel's own beach sufficient. Excellent hotel management, very good service at the front desk, good team in the restaurant. Obviously there is room, the photos on the website are, although clean but very basic in the decoration are. The room's amenities you would expect in a four star hotel definitely not. The hotel is very quiet. The hotel's own beach was easy to reach, but too small and not really inviting. We would book this hotel again. Our room (108a) was very large, seperate bedroom and living room with a TV device in each case. The best thing about this room was the large, covered balcony with a direct view on Spina longa. The food was good-Greek. Also the selection at the breakfast buffet was adequate. The guests were mostly russians in the hotel, a few British and a few Germans. We never use the pool, since we were out and about a lot, if then we went down to the sea.
