Very good and decent middle class hotel. Nice service. By different-and the hotel is very concorted and well arranged. Underground car park very cramped. Otherwise very quiet and good metro access to the train (about 800 meters). Hagen Beck animal park is within walking distance. Read more

The hotel is mostly by people on business trip and regular used. It is conveniently close to the airport. The staff in the hotel as well as in the restaurant were very professional and very friendly. We loved the hotel Engel was very good and we would definitely recommend it. Everything was clean and tidy, the staff was always nice and friendly and the breakfast was very good. For a city trip to Hamburg recommended, if a ca.1 kilometer long walk to the metro (around in the city center to arrive) and aircraft noise didn't bother! Unfortunately, the hotel is located nearby the airport, so the noise will be charged on the day unfortunately not avoidable, but no problem, if you like usually only at night sleep in the hotel... Hotel has several entrances and a> B = maze, but very well sign posted. Room 1 + and beds very, very good! Bathroom 3-bathtub, toilet and hair dryer custom disinfected (maybe I'm picky to?!) bus: 2-bus stop in front of the door, but no connection. Close to subway station 20 minutes away.
