The hotel is located between Innenstadtbezirken. In the immediate area there are no sights. It is always a short cab ride necessary. But it is quiet in a lively lateral road.
The staff are friendly and accommodating. Was pleasant, the doorman us before each taxi a map of the hotel and the number of taxis noted.
A downside is, that the Wi-Fi expensive. However there is in the lobby several PC's with free internet.
Recommendable are the rooms on the fourth floor, the to the pool beach chairs. This have a direct access to the pool terrace.

The hotel was part of our tour through Vietnam and is located in a slip road between two busy streets. This has the advantage, that the traffic noise outside as good as nothing easier, but from the windows nevertheless the wuseligen transport watch. The lobby is large and bright, so we us from the start ease. Although also many business travelers stayed, we didn't feel out of place.

The Equatorial is a great hotel in the middle of Saigon Chinatown, in the five district. Most of the sights, it is about ten minute taxi ride away (2-3 €). It is absolutely a five stars hotel standard. The lobby is very spacious and the settlement (check-in/check-out) smooth and fast. The Equatorial is centrally located, but not in the heart of Saigon. (District 5). Although we only stayed two nights, we felt very comfortable.
