The erboy is a small 3-star hotel of choice in the middle in the old town of Istanbul. Hotel only partly renovated and the best days in my opinion already behind. I guess there is a newer part, we had a double room in the old part. The hotel is not by design/modern facilities, however is it for the booked value for money this was okay, we had the hotel reasonably priced about a internet-Portal booked (about 2.3 months in the first ). International audience, but supposedly the majority from Germany.

The hotel is very Central for a short trip: a lot of it is within walking distance! There are rooms on the pedestrian area, the windows are very sound proof addition. The room was small, but good bed, very clean bathroom, great shower-perfect for those cities short trip. The service was excellent and surprised again and again; the staff is well trained. This hotel is perfect for a short stay in Istanbul! It is situated in a quiet location right next to the topkapi Palace, everything you need is within walking distance (or the tram/bus stop is 100m away only) and even sleep with the window open. The roof terrace is a dream, the food was to be recommended. Unfortunately only open in the evenings. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was quite small, but clean and functional. If you look at Istanbul, and the main tourist attractions this hotel is due to its location was excellent. The price/performance ratio very good. It is located in a quiet side street and it is within walking distance. If you want to Taksim square (cost twice 1.75 lira ca.1, 5 euro) with the tram in 15 minutes to get there. From there towards the galataturm and then back to the hotel Yeni cami in the past.
