As I this hotel probably a half dozen times' tested ' have, I write this time against my other habits no detailed, illustrated hotel critic, but references to my old, detailed review of May 2010.
It is nice to see, that good quality yet furthermore upheld. Only in Austria apparently not assertive ban on smoking in restaurants disturb me. In the hotel are however Smokers from non-smokers-floors separated, so I no impairments could see. the hotel is wonderful and has an uncanny Wienerischen charm. During our stay was the lift broken. They allowed us a lift to use, the for the employees apart from that as is.
the rooms have a ideal size. In our room it had 2 single beds a large dresser, as well as a large closet. The toilet had a proper door to the bathroom.

... the sliced gherkins and tomatoes, you will always have the impression, since the previous day on its performance wait had to, that does not fit full picture.
the hotel itself is located about 3 minutes from the underground station the deaf alley away, so not far from the karlsplatz. For users of S-, metro and tram 8-day Umweltkarte is highly recommended (2 persons 4 days) for currently under 29 euros.
to sum up, it was a very pleasant stay to the new year in the hotel Erzherzog Rainer-thank you, the next visit is there already booked.

The hotel erzherzog Rainer is a typical 'Viennese' hotel, it inspired the historic ambience and central location. Only a few steps from naschmarkt, the Vienna State opera, the theater at the Vienna and the old town. All the best on foot to reach. The U1, Taubstummengasse is just around the corner.
