Hotel Evergreen Lodge

Good round trip hotel during our Neckermann round trip ( Highlights of Costa Rica ). The rooms are on stilts and are wonderful in the nature integrated and functional. The hotel is only by boat taxi or by plane to reach (small airport in the 1000 meters distant location Tortuguero ). The restaurant offers in board excellent food, soft drinks inclusive. Two nights we have during our round trip here. Who nature loves, is also this small hotel love. Great Zeltbungalows with simple equipment. Very great experience of nature if you at night the animals can hear. I can recommend the kayak tour through the channels, on your own undertake can. The hotel's own Dschungelpfad didn't keep me from stools torn, since we were here bad luck and except mud not much seen. The guided boat tour however was the crazy. The lodge is located in the middle of the jungle. You can reach it only by boat or plane. The complex is very nice! Especially the pool! From the lodge you can go nowhere, you can hang out in the area. But the offers are great! Their eggs are turtles, jungle tours by boat or on foot, canopy tours and excursions located in a nearby jungle village. It was really great! Read more

The lodge is located in the heart of the NP Tortugero. It was a very extensive area with individual bungalows, built on stilts, the beautifully imbedded in the nature were. The bungalows are open, but all barbicans are fully equipped with mosquito nets. The whole night on the great and interesting sounds of jungle. The room is very spacious and simple equipped.
