... And the days were still beautifully long. We were now in the Hotel Faro Jandia for the fifth time, which was for us absolutely no alternative. We only hoped , that the all inclusive tourism didn't stop, but I would be certain that they wouldn't do that, since then they would lose most of their regular tourists. Breakfast as well as dinner, was absolutely good. Evenings, there were always many freshly grilled fish offered (mostly 2 different), among them swordfish, sole, croaker, pike, prawns. The fish was always grilled do... Continue reading the hotel review,in October 09Theo, Age 41-45, CoupleRead 2467 times - 67% helpful

Beautiful mostly clean hotel with architecture in the dining room which needed to get used to, bookable with half board. The average age was in that travel season for couples over 50, almost all without children. Sufficient size, with filled minibar and water cooker for tea and coffee. Cappuccino packs were availabe at the morning buffet early. Bath with bathtub, bathrobe and bath slippers, which were however with use already during the holiday worn out soles. Air conditioner was in order, TV with a few channels. Rental safe 1,80 Eur dail... Continue reading the hotel review,in September 09Ralf, Age 46-50, CoupleRead 1671 times - 72% helpful

Although the hotel has over 400 rooms I would not say it is a large complex. The hotel grounds are not large enough for a short stroll or for children's activities. The hotel is modern and clean with extrememely friendly staff. The majorty of people were English, German and Spanish and most were agreeable. The hotel was mainly aimed at families, though I would say the hotel lacked space to entertain children. The kids club which mainly entertained 3-6 year olds had limited space, they either had to use the entertainment theatre located next ... The equipment and furnishings of the hotel, especially in the bar area, should be replaced very soon. The chairs are dirty and have holes. But thankfully you can't see this in the evening (something the hotel management likely considers). The jacuzzi on our balcony was neither cleaned nor filled with fresh water. Pillows with no covers got a cover only two days later. Then the towels were taken away and forgotten, so we had no towels whatsoever. The sofas and chairs are totally dirty. During our stay half of the staff was off, so that... Continue reading the hotel review,in January 07Michaela, Age 36-40, CoupleRead 2119 times - 16% helpful
