We were already for the second time -after 2009-in the 'Fontane', the negative reviews I am able therefore not comprehend:
Without question the hotel is strong getting old and approaches actually a fundamental reorganization. You should however remember, that you are in southern Europe and because of its more of a' ailing charm' speak (in plain English: it looks almost everything so from)!

The rooms are not small, but tiny, just as the balcony. The bathroom is a close tube. The food was really always the same, the best were the soups. The scrambled eggs for breakfast was mostly burnt. The beach is very beautiful and well maintained. Read more

Never four stars! The hotel is ancient, from the seventies, it was always repaired only ragged around. You would normally take down! The pool was very small, tasteless food and always the same. Expensive food rations for example every guest only three prawns. You can sit on plastic everywhere. Hotel very noisy, very noisy. The dining room was like train station. All in all, a very nice holiday, on a beautiful beach = great swimming. However, unfortunately, in the morning, here loud disco entertainment. Hotel area, very nice. but room too small and simply = No four stars. Food, okay but little fruit... Although I, actually a Italy-food fan, I enjoyed the food, not always, although the quality, it was good. Weak was also, that you all-inclusive in the hotel, itself, (outside of the meal times), no drinks, and then down, to the beach/pool, had to walk. Nice Hotel, good food, everything repeated in 14 days, which is normal, we had all inclusive, clean rooms, daily towel change (couldn't be), the beach was very nice, this compensated in my opinion have the somewhat remote location, we had rented a car for five days (in Germany, since locally too expensive) that you should treat yourself, parking lot at the hotel no problem,
