We used the forellenhof as a station for different excursions ( Heide park, Bird park, Serengeti-park and so on). The location the junction Walsrode made possible trips to Hamburg, Bremen and Hannover. The location outside of Walsrode made possible itself in the evening really to relax. If you wanted you could the in-house sauna used. I had only booked accommodation and breakfast and were with the breakfast buffet very satisfied. The hotel made a very clean impression and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

nice family hotel in the old country. Very friendly staff. Nice place to stay if you want to visit the bird park in Walsrode. I was on business in this hotel. Very positive: free Wi-Fi is available. The hotel has a small brewery (Schnuckenbräu). A brewery tour I most warmly highly recommend. Small drawback: very isolated hotel. Without a car, it is therefore not recommended. Leisure opportunities: bird park, shoemaker kart center( about 30 minutes km) and ski hall bispingen. Read more

The double room in the guesthouse is very old and in dire need of a major renovation. Very dark. Flat panel TV, but very poor image. Very small and old bathroom. Not even hooks for the towels available, lay on the heating. Room was not a four star hotel. The bikes only chaos. three castles had to be sawed, because no keys were available. The check-in the room was not ready, there was no apology. Our reserved table was not free, it was the staff didn't care.
