This is a place that I would not hesitate to re-book! The service was great, breakfast out house in a small café be taken directly on the opposite street. But it had charm, comfortable, and clean. The rooms are not huge, but comfortably furnished and the most important: clean! The Fredericks" offers House is a quiet and clean hotel in the best location Edinburgh. Around the corner beach chairs with George and Princess Street the streets of town. about 10 -15 minutes away walking distance to the bus stop Waverly Station, offering easy access to the shuttle to the airport start. Also to the largest attraction Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Castle are not much more than 15 minutes. Breakfast is served in the cafe Rick's on the opposite side of the road. I was with a known 18 2.09 to 22. 02.09 in Edinburgh and stayed on the recommendation from the friends booked this place to stay. Hotel you cannot say, as it doesn't have its own kitchen and bar, but you are basically only night's sleep. The securities vouchers can be used in Rick's cafe. The breakfast offered was ok. The room was on the 2nd floor. Floor with windows at the rear of the property and has enough for us to sleep. The bathroom was large enough and bathtub. Price/performance ratio was right in this hotel. Very friendly staff. Great central location. Breakfast in Rick's across the street. Also here, for Scottish standards, it was totally fine and ok. But in terms of decor, the furniture surely seen better times. But the room was big enough and cleaned the room every day was very good. Fresh towels every day, Handseifen, shower gel and for a four-day stay 1 x linen change. The duvet was a bit hard to get used to. Consisted of a sheet and a comforter. Read more

£80 for two nights in Edinburgh was excellent value for money, right on the doorstep for the train station,shops, sightseeing, restaurants, theaters, couldn't have asked for more, the room was clean, toilet i no it sounds stupid but was very clean i would go as far as say excellent (i have a phobia about toilets) , the room was lovely and warm and having a fridge in the room was a bonus, extra blankets if needed were in the cupboard. - in January 10
