We were accommodated in a guesthouse called Dike. The room was very small, but okay since we only used it to sleep and were there only for two nights. In the evening there is not much going on in varel (only in autumn at bowling club). Who stays longer should book a room with a sitting area. The bathroom is very small.

For a short break and Kluburlaub highly recommended. The hotel has its own bar/disco where evening, "young & old" meetings. This bar is also at "the locals" very popular. We have forgotten in advance to book all-inclusive light which would have been worth it certainly. If I would book this hotel longer or with friends or family I can't imagine, since it was already very toward Club-hotel. The rooms were very large and spacious.
