I stayed here on a weekend away with my son. The owner, Susanne Steger-Kiener, was warm, welcoming, helpful and friendly. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The room was great for the price, small bathroom but fine for us. Breakfast was a treat, from the great coffee to the birchermuesli, fresh bread, quality cheese and cold meat, just ideal.

... expensive for either a family room or two rooms. Then we found the Hotel Garni Hostatt. The owner was friendly and helpful and able to offer us a family room at a very reasonale rate. The room, with a double bed and two single beds, was perfect for us. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice, all of good quality. The staff spoke good English and were very welcoming. The Hotel was immaculately clean with lovely amenities. It was just what we were looking for. Not a 'hilton type' but more of a smallish yet intimate style of accommodation. We loved it. It was the highlight of our trip around Europe.
Just a delightful place to stay. room, bathroom, dining room etc were clean tidy and verycomfortable. We had a balcony room with fabulous views of the mountains. there was little if any noise to concern us. We had a family room for us and a studio one for our daughter and her partner

The hotel, as well as the staff made us at the beginning a great impression. It was also bewert. We were with the room, the breakfast, the playground as well as the nightly peace very satisfied. We will definitely go back. The kids (1 and 3 years) were very welcome and could play. Read more

We used the hotel as an overnight stay (for two nights) on the way to Italy.
From the motorway it takes about a half hour in the mountains.
The reservation was made on the Internet and was within the framework for Swiss standards, but not cheap.
The hotel itself is relatively small for the number of rooms. The staff at the front desk was friendly and you got directly tips for the evening to eat go, because the Hotel only offers a bed and breakfast.
