I used this hotel for one night on a business trip. On arrival the small parking was totally crowded and you must find one in the area. At the front desk there was only a short smile and the key from the room. The breakfast times were not mentioned, these were only given once I asked. Also the way to the room was only explained with the following words :' the stairs up '. And from there you could find it yourself. the hotel is a pure City hotel in the outskirts of Kassel. the rooms are all very different from modern to rustic. That is the fault of the house itself, which surely 150 years or older and very built up. The night in a double room with breakfast is located in 79 euros,-. That would be in Cologne cheap, near Kassel, I am not so sure. the rooms are clean and functional. Good Three Stars Standard. Coffee Maker in the room, Shampoo and soap. The hotel Papen Änne essentially corresponds to the 3 star category. The room's size was an old half-timbered house accordingly. The purely quantitative terms but perfectly adequate rooms and bathroom, during the shower height of 50 centimeter with an estimated for the elderly and/or disabled people should not have come as a major challenge. Altogether the equipment of the bath is out of fashion, only the neutral whitish tiles to leave the not so noticeable.
