Room clean but basic.No tea/coffee making facilities.Extremely difficult to get a decent nights sleep due to constant noise of trains passing behind hotel.Staff very helpful apart from Frau K..She was a very unapproachable woman whose response to all enquiries was either "Nein" or silence accompanied by a shrug of the shoulders.Never once did she present herself to ask if everything was to our liking.Germany is a country famed for good food , wonderful desserts and cakes but the food presented to us at dinner was an absolute disgrace.I must ... Good variety at breakfast-time , poor choice at dinner time .Severe lack of ideas for sweets. On day of departure, lift not working,no hot water for showers.On complaining , was informed that no amenities working till dinning room opened at 7am.Not good ( as coach was leaving at 8-30 am)
Luggage had to be carried downstairs and cold showers were the order of the day. All of coach party were retired people, and some disabled. Read more

.Basic hotel. Clean -offers half-board. Buffet breakfast which was adequate. Dinner was poor, hardly any choice( unless one liked pork) and most of the food was of poor quality. When I was there all guests were English. 50/70 years old.

The hotel itself is an older building. I had a single room, which unfortunately was very small. The view of the Rhine was fantastic. The grounds are right next to the hotel five minutes walk. To the center of rudesheim but there are 10 miles. I was as a travel chief and a group have taken care of. Especially recommendable is, while the Rhine in flames event there travel. i am 26 years since about the hotel Germania. Friendliness and höffleichkeit are capitalized. Fam perky EAFRD and her team were very pleasant and accommodating. I will continue my weekend in spet there. October. Well with the train. Salmon, you can get used to it.
