We are based on the good reviews in this hotel. When we arrived there was over backwards. The hotel was in need of renovation, the furniture tired the furnishing very dirty. A well run hotel?
Especially the staff at the reception was very unfriendly, uninterested and only spoke French with a few words in German. The only concern of the staff was, we (two women) suit ravens and stupid comments to knock. For the first time in Africa. The Tunisians are extremely friendly and helpful. The weather was summery, not too hot, in the evening rather fresh. The hotel was not brand new, but very pleasant and the staff tried hard and was friendly. The pool is big and nice, and we had direct access to the beach. The hotel pleased us very well, since it was not too new and too sterile. The staff were all very nice and friendly, helpful and had good tips for the excursions for us. If you don't want to be at the pool, the beach could be reached in a few minutes. If you do not go on the furniture or small, obvious repairs unfachmännischen mind, this is very well cared for. Older hotel, but still in good condition and kept extremely clean by noticeably many employees.
There were AI (ca. 30%) and guests with half board in this hotel, which for us AI wasn't a disadvantage.
