the hotel lies an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area as well as Exploring the Highlands. The rooms are small, but clean, the staff are very nice and helpful. The rates are totally okay. Gladly again anytime, if we are in Scotland. Read more

Breakfast is good, parking available, mostly older guests.
We had a deluxe room with a view of the river. The room was in of decaying condition! The mattresses were broken, the bathroom dingy. The carpet was a real insult (total value and dirty) and the highlight a defective couch, it was completely broke and it stand out Ferrous materials. For this room we could pay £150 per night. Luckily we only had a one night stay in a standard room for 100 euro (! ) and seemed to be in the part not re-furbished ended up on the top floor. Old is not bad, but at least clean it should be. The bed linen was torn, the mattresses were worn, the carpet was with undefinable stains. But the worst was the bathroom: spider webs hung from the ceiling, the skylight would not lock (through large water spots on the wood paneling you could be concluded that this is the case a while) and the sink still had had fluff and hair from the previous tou...
