Especially in this hotel... It is small, family, incredibly friendly staff everywhere and always helping if it pins or if you would like to know. It is centrally located. Each room has its own computer, free Wiki everywhere in the entire hotel, is not so large. You will find everything you need, Pho restaurant just around the corner, Hoan Kim Lake just two corners. This small and comfortable hotel in the old town from Hanoi, a stone's throw from the Hoan Kiem lake, is an appropriate place to stay, if you don't have to walk much 'from the action' you want to be. A typical small vietnamese hotel: narrow and high. Our room in the sixth floor (to change from the fifth floor) was very spacious with relatively large bathroom (Tub with shower). A 'gem' real! The hotel, small but fine-is located in a quiet area in the heart of the old quarter of Hanoi. From here it is really only a few minutes walk to the beautiful lake, the water dolls theater (visit! sometimes it is on demand 'last minute' tickets for the next idea) and nice restaurants around the former französ. The hotel is very clean and pleasant, the staff helped with all of our questions zuverlaesslich and friendly. The breakfast was mediocre, but adequate. Shuttle service and organization work very well as well. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the old city. We had the rooms with a 'city view', which in the evening was a bit noisy. We are a backpacker four nights at the golden sun lakeview (deluxe lakeview and deluxe city view room) and we felt very comfortable. The rooms not the newest furniture and more fixtures, but are very clean and have all the comfort( flat screen Tv, hair dryer, own laptop with free internet access, mini bar,...). The location of the hotel is the ideal starting point to explore hanoi.
