the hotel lies right in the city centre, in a side street of the first shopping area. From the train station from the hotel is five minutes easy to reach on foot. The hotel is somewhat older, but it was completely equipped. The design is geared toward the motel one. Our room as well as the bathroom were unfortunately very small-for a four-star hotel too small. Nice place to stay if you want to explore Amsterdam as a tourist. The hotel has a main building and a neighboring house. The guest house is about a hallway leading to the first floor. The facilities at the neighboring house is slightly worse than in the main building (other shower). The rooms in the adjoining building was also poor cleaned (old urine smelly toilet). The hotel is now Inntel-hotels around and it is right in the center of Amsterdam. Walking distance from the train station was 10 minutes. Breakfast is a bit expensive but all around there were plenty of places to have breakfast. The room was big enough, specially for Amsterdam standards, as this small houses, which are mostly, small room. The entire hotel is new, or newly renovated and the room decor was very modern and especially clean. Reception for guests free internet. Unfortunately Amsterdam as a city is on the slow slippery slide slide to being just another party town, slowly becoming the "Blackpool of Europe" only without the theme park.
