All together a recommendable hotel. Large downside was a very musty stench in our room. Initially we had the air conditioning suspicion; but out, The wood of our closet damp and rotted was. On demand after room changing was the closet only repaired, but no change was offered. Our clothes, suitcase, Bags, even books, stink now at home still! Clothes even after the second wash and suitcase even after 2 days air. This reflects the unfortunately unfriendly staff at the front desk again. All other employees but very friendly. Read more

We have our vacation we really enjoyed there. The complex is really big, even for partly ' brawny' Canadians under the other there's a lot of (but all very friendly), was to negotiate and for the walking lazy there is the shuttle bus- buses. Large positive the many plants in the area and the large main building in their 'retro-Mayan style' impressive! Good international kitchen and the theme restaurants convince. ... Kilometers further distant Barcelo Maya beach resort. This area I would highly recommend, the Gran Bahia Principe not. As you restaurants of coba, akumal and Tulum can use, one comes on all in all 7 buffet-style restaurant with huge selection. the hotel is very well maintained, the whole area is very clean and everything was beautifully green. The coba is located in a complex with two other hotels-Tulum and akumal. Everything is so big, that you can get lost, but really nice laid out. the audience stock mainly from Canadians and Americans. In the second week came a massive group Italian.
