Hotel Gran Caribe Arenas Blancas

This hotel is absolutely not recommendable. The food is very bad (lunch and dinner). We were therefore almost every evening eat out. Relaxation is not really possible, as the entertainment (with large boxes) directly to all poolRoom is addressed (often until 00:00 o'clock). It is a hotel! It is only on Massentouristen set, the more people the more better. It is the party hotel for Varadero! With 50% Canadians and 40% Russians! Not for German tourist suitable. Rooms are very large but very shabby and dirty! The cleaning lady understands not much of your job the rooms are nice large and bright. An older hotel, which normally should be closed and completely renovated. The rooms are ready, defective parts, broken pieces, furniture together denominated, filthy furniture, totally dirty air conditioning, water comes from the ceiling in the bathroom. We were greeted by tour operator on site put up here, because the actually booked hotel (Palma real) was not OK. in the hotel at the time lots of young Canadians, the party went on, which night sometimes also very loud. The hotel is located on a of the most beautiful beaches in the we have ever seen. In it were more than enough available, but unfortunately just 15 umbrellas for about 300 guests. Beach cloths to get was hit and miss. The five star neighboring hotel solymar can fully use (restaurants, bars, pool and activities). Thus one has eight different restaurants available.
