We had a very nice week on my birthday in March 2012 at the Grand palladium Punta Cana. All cynicism previous reviewer despite I must say, that these are not. The complex is wonderful and varied, exactly the pools, restaurants. To be highlighted are here in any case the eight à la carte restaurant. Whoever found nothing here for his taste and gusto finds, it is your own fault! The hotel staff is very nice, from the singing Maids to waiter. Everyone is in a good mood and made a fun. Deluxe rooms are not recommendable. Furniture is no more a five star hotels contemporary.
for the most part was the furnishing shabby, the coffee machine and the MP3 station. The safe was broken.
unfortunately it rained during heavy rain purely (from the ceiling when the washbasin ). Not every day were all towels available and the room only superficial cleaned.

Room: we had a deluxe room booked was very shabby and not really clean. The toilet flush did not work, bath tub very dirty, in the shower the water ran everywhere out just not where it should be, TV and coffee machine broken, and so on
we got a upgrade made to a junior suite (almost a day):
also the suite was also really run-down but much bigger and much clean -but our ideas on a 5-star hotel better met.

everything great. A note was however allowed: the'theme restaurants' you can save. Was 4 years ago still with registration worked, you get today a transmitter and the food, if it the ladies like! Tasty was the 'Japanese' no difference to kitchen in the main restaurant. Just the shouting was around 150% louder-impossible! You can choose whether you more luxury in a "A-la-carte restaurant food or rather the buffet preferred ( fine Kleindung duty, so the goodies pack) you can easily walk the orientation verlierebn, due to the complex is so huge, but you will have the advantage of being there for a large Bedüfniss walking and felt compelled to leave the resort.
