This hotel is not placed in the touristic Center, but in the City where normal Romans live and work. This means that you have all you need including Bars, Restaurants, Cafes and Puplic Transport without the "Tourist addon"... Great hotel, in the suburb of Rome 'Trastevere', 5 minutes. The train station Trastevere, with the tram number 8 directly after Trastevere with many restaurants and bars.
The hotel has a own shuttle bus this drives free of charge 4 times a day and stops in the town proximity of the kolosseums.
Super traffic connections! With the metro or the bus cost: 1, -. One drives at all sights past.
The hotel lies a bit out of the way but not is bad, since there quiet and less costly than in the center from Rome.

"Out of the way" is of course a relative concept - local buses that take you to Piazza Venezia, Termini etc leave frequently from around the corner, and the hotel also operates a free (and very comfortable) shuttle service to the city centre a few times a day. - in August 10
