Hotel HEM Amsterdam

Be forewarned if you ever plan on booking a stay with HEM Hotel Amsterdam. This hotel may display "Three Stars, (***)but they can barely compete with a Two star (**). 1- From the discourteous staff to the lack of basic amenities this place was definitely no "HOTEL" 2- Wireless LAN in room did not exist 3- Elevator to the fourth floor where we stayed...vintage 1970! 4- No heat in bathroom 5- No way to properly dispose of feminine hygiene products in the bathroom 6- We paid with a credit card at time of booking. We have a cheap hotel looking for, which is not far away of the city is. We were a room assigned which already when entering amusingly smelled. We could see the fragrance not only clearly identify and ventilated simply. Then came the first Graswolke. We decided into town to drive. City journey, eight people, three rooms in order (. 3 and fourth floor), a few rooms good (2. Floor), cleanliness in the room upon arrival acceptable, cleaning Oh well!, Room size in the first three rooms good, room on the second floor rather bad, Allgmeine cleanliness in the floors, hallways and Hausgängen really bad, at the carpets in the hallways were renewed. Should you want clean sheets and towels, better bring your own. We are not without stains found. The cleaning staff cleaned the room, even though the sign 'please do not disturb' on the door. Thus no valuable articles in the room leave. We wanted to take the elevator to the fourth floor.
