The hotel HSM Venus Playa is situated in Playa de Palma, one of the most popular and visited resorts in Majorca. Playa de Palma extends between the municipalities of Palma de Mallorca and Llucmajor and it is 4,5 km long. Its most important features are: its proximity to Palma de Mallorca (15 km) and the airport (8 km); being one of the longest and beautiful beaches in Majorca, its long sea promenade with countless bars, restaurants and shops, ideal to go by tourist train, by bike or simply walking. Impressive marine park “Palma Aquarium”, one of the biggest in Europe, is situated 2 km away from the hotel. The water park “Aquacity” is situated 4 km away. The golf course Golf Son Antem is 10 km away. At its east end there is sports port Club Náutico de S´Arenal (Llucmajor). It is worth mentioning that there is an efficient public bus service to Palma de Mallorca and El Arenal, the bus stop is only 200 m away from the hotel.

All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel, I particularly liked the pool area (, although rather small and I always prefer the beach). The staff could learn a slice of many other hotels, as you really feel like a guest welcome. Functional room, not large but all the important available. Flat screen tv-but only ARD ZDF-EUROSPORT/German speaking channels. Surprisingly large and clean pool area, beach chairs with adjustable head part and cushions, lots of shade under the trees. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only drawback: the food. We had a nice big room with a view on the pool. The beds were too hard for us but i'm used to a soft bed.The hotel was a littlle bit loud but it didn't keep me awake...
Breakfast and dinner were good. We allways enjoyed it at the hotel. Offcourse there were soms things i did,t like but dinner was varied enough.

It was a prize-worthy hotel.
Some disappointments though, a lot of youngsters wouldn't be quiet when they came back in the middle of the night or early inte morning. That was very disturbing.
Another thing was that the hotel had a dress-code (no shorts for men during the supper). For some reason didn't the staff tell the young men to change clothes before they entered the dining-room. Some of them came in their bathing-shorts. Rather disgusting in my opinion. Read more
