It is a really small hotel, on 5 floors divided. Everything was great clean and the breakfast room has a nice atmosphere from. Everything was very nice. We had breakfast included in the price. The hotel was fully booked, but we other guests only with the breakfast saw. The were only German guests.
small lift for 3 persons maximum. Better 2.
we had room 401 and 303.
401 was slightly larger. Both rooms with lateral view the port. Great. 4 star not, but everything clean and absolutely sufficient.

We spent two nights at the hotel hafentor and were more than impressed.
It has the best location to explore at all. From our room we had a beautiful view of the harbor and the Hamburger. (The Aida Luna was in the dry dock and we could see it every day and evening on the new).
The room was very spacious and equipped with a flat screen. Especially the bathroom was very modern and nicely designed.
Very good was the hotel's own parking lot for the price of 5 Euro per night, so we our car the entire three day not had to move.

It is a highly recommended Hotel, if you want a city break for a sightseeing tour in Hamburg is doing.
