Hotel Haffidyll is a family-run guesthouse which was opened in January 1998. It is located in the centre of Rerik, 50 m far away from Salzhaff and around 200 m away from the beach on the Baltic Sea.
The surroundings are among the most enchanting ones on the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast. Our establishment comprises 25 rooms, equipped with a shower, WC and TV. Our suite offers, in addition, a
wonderful view of the untouched coastal landscape. An ample buffet awaits you in our cosy restaurant and conservatory. Our kitchen team guarantees you freshly prepared, predominantly regional dishes.

Very small clairaudient room and bathroom. Great view on the salzhaff. Good selection for breakfast. In the evening two dishes recommended. A selection of 'a la carte' there are however not, or we have no menu. Says one of the recommended dishes not too, one gets more dishes to choose from to. For the price you can however be satisfied.

PricePerformance for drinks POOR! 0.1 liter glass of champagne (warm) 4,00 euros, beer from 2,80 euros / 0.3 liters. A Ducksteiner 0.5 liter= 5,00 euros! Prices as a four star hotel, but only in this season (March 2012) only 2 should receive. During dinner one was rushed, because at 20:00 o'clock the restaurant closes.
We would also for the the range of dishes on offer (2 dishes = 1 fish or meat (Schweinesteak/Schnitzel) more we could have hoped for.
Breakfast with Aldi was usually warmed up rolls not also the knaller.

The staff is excellent, friendly and attentive.
Extensive and varied breakfast.
The decoration of the room with worn furniture was unpleasant farmers. The TV too small screen, located on the desk.
What's missing is a mini fridge, as well as a clock radio and a telephone. The room wasn't value for money, can't recommend this hotel.

The location of the Haffidyll s is perfect. If you left the hotel, and looked out onto the lagoon. Promenade and the Baltic Sea are within a few minutes walk. In October in rerik is not very busy, so only for those seeking peace of our fellow human beings to be recommended. We stayed one night in the stubborn Meck to a reading of Mrs Frank. There was a great diversity of food really nice! At first we were a bit concern, if the room is not too small (due to a read reviews)... But this was not the case. Sunday. We found it to be perfectly adequate. We had a double room on the roof and it was a nice cozy atmosphere, in addition one does not spend its vacation in the room. We had a beautiful view of the salt lagoon... It was just a pity that there is no balcony, but as I said the time outside!
