For travellers, the far from every luxury and want to be, this hotel fits. Sparsely equipped room, not too clean, no courteous service, but a nice, comfortable hotel with good food and no importunate animation team. Rather not suitable for families. Read more

There is no luxury but who wants to spend his vacation already in the room?HCLFHLThis hotel has the best view over the city and the bay.HCLFHLIf you don't create two minutes to the hotel's own beach to walk and three minutes walk to the city center is probably too fat or too lazy for this hotel.HCLFHLSpecial thanks to the v... The hotel is older, so you can't expect the latest/greatest luxury. I sleep in a horrible room first, but after a complaint was then moved to a much nicer room.HCLFHLRoom and bathroom were not really great, but for me was sufficient. Read more

With a family you should avoid this hotel since it was absolutely not child friendly installed. A week for two is however okay. On the beach you had a wonderful view of Naama bay is the beach cliffs and really bathing shoes are recommended. The entrance to the water is over a jetty where you can only be described as 'strain ' came out again. Otherwise, but it is nice to relax. At least you can see directly from the beach, there was a reef in the whole Naama Bay anywhere else in the colors and splendor. However, you must be in good condition ... Read more

We were the third time in Egypt. We have had a good experience. This time it was different. The staff was absolutely indifferent and seemed partly haphazard.HCLFHLThe occurrence of some employees at the front desk is in tracksuit bottoms not fit.HCLFHLWe also had the problem, until 23:00 o 'clock that all inclusive was booked, but at 22:00 o' clock ended. On our complaint we got an answer 'is it'. Very nice.HCLFHLThe food was not to our taste. The buffet was more than clear. Since there is more trouble elsewhere acceptable to the whole style... Overall this hotel was good but basic, if you don't plan on doing anything other than coming back to sleep or sit by the pool and sunbathe I would go elsewhere.

The hotel is a nice mix of a big variety of nationalities, but as many rooms were empty, pretty calm and with enough sun beds both in the pool area and rocky beach area. - in February 10
We were quite impressed, it was all a good flight and the hotel was nice, not as big and busy as some of the others we have stayed in and a bit more authentic.

turned up to be informed that they hadn't recieved our booking so had to go somewhere else for the first night. - in March 10
they seem to put everyone in the worse room in the place 1st night, but everyone complains and gets moved from it, other rooms are slightly better, they are kept clean but are very tired, bathroom was terrible, air con was a joke (older than me ) food was was awful, if you are AI its ok for drinks but if you are not look out they are really exspensive, the stairs to Naama bay (108 of them) are quite dodgy under foot and after a night in town are dangerous, the stairs to the beach are even worse (sorry did I say beach I meant shelf) and the jetty into the sea is really dangerous too, the pool is really cold on 20*, the sea was 25*, Its very noisy at night because of the clubs in Naama Bay 4am was the norm, end of the day if you are here for diving or want to be close to Naama Bay and want somewhere cheap to stay its ok, if you want a nice holiday pay more and go somewhere else, my 5th trip to Egypt and by far the worst hotel.

Although the hotel is advised as not suitable for children, this is only because of the cliff side, which actually has a 3ft high metal fence around it.

You get what you pay for but with this hotel for the price you pay for the holiday you get a little more than you pay for, no it isn't 4 or 5 star but it is clean and has the best view Nama Bay has to offer with a good clean pool for the guests to use. - in August 10
nothing is ever too much trouble and it really has the best view in the whole of sharm. - in June 10

the hotel is in a great location over looking naama bay, the best view i have had to be honest. - in October 10
I may have painted a nightmare scenario of this hotel, but as a 3 times visitor,I have seen no money spent on it at all in all this time, shame really because, without doubt, this hotel has the best view bar none of Naama bay over to Tiran Island as you are situated on the cliff tops, stunning.

I was worried about going to this hotel as i had read some bad reviews about it , I also spoke to Thomas Cook staff and they reassured me that they would not send me to a hotel that they thought was not suitable and they were right Our flight had a delay due to traffic control in Brussels , we arrived late on the Sunday night and it was very hot (39c ) when getting on the bus , so was glad that it was night time We were met with a warm smile at the hotel reception and shown to our rooms which are basic but much nicer than the ones we had in Turkey ( that was a culture shock ) ,and are cleaned every day ,but the fridge and air condition were not working properly so got that sorted We were moved to another room two days later not due to any problem with the room but due to a group of Asian lads from London keeping us awake at night fighting and kicking the door in because his friend wouldn't let him into the room , this was at 2. - in August 10
The rooms are basic but tidy, linen and towels are changed daily and the air-con is free (and much needed). - in August 10
The rooms were basic although clean. - in August 10

15am , Found out from the manager a few days later that they were told to behave or else , also heard that they were very rude to staff and demeaning the bar staff, made me feel ashamed that they were from Britain The food was lovely a better choice than Turkey again and fresh , around four different courses to choose from at each meal time The Restaurant Manager Mustave is a gem amongst gems he is very professional and has only been back at the hotel for a month after being away for a few years I only found two nights where i was not keen on some things , but that is because i am not a great pasta or pizza eater and am trying to loose weight , but the rice was lovely as was the soups The pool, well what can I say except that these guys could come show our local pool staff how to clean a pool , it was cleaned every night and again in the morning , filters changed several times during the day , as a keen swimmer I was so pleased to swim in a lovely clean pool I did go down with tummy cramps and the runs , this was after a day of wonderful scuba diving , I have done one before and had started my paddi here in Scotland , but the marine life in the red sea is fantastic and will go back to do my water dives out there But I was drinking very cold drinks and the heat was intense that day , I had been drinking hot coffee several times a day up to then to keep my insides warm as drinking very cold drinks all day is not good for you , but that day had had none , The manager of the hotel was great he got me peppermint tea to calm the cramps down , advised me and checked on what foods to eat for a few days and told us what tablets to get from the chemist "Buscapol " which you can get from over here as well to take with you We tipped the cleaners and the pool guy who put towels out for us , (but if there is not enough sun beds he will get some ) as well as the bar and restaurant staff , we had saved up our £2 coins to take with us for this very purpose I loved the snorkelling from the jetty it was fantastic , I saw a barracuda ,Lion fish and many many more ,the Parrot fish big green ( female ) ones were my favourite and the kids from the hotel loved it as well , only wished i could have the children I child mind for there to take them they would love it My husband , son , daughter her partner and his son all went on a Dune buggy trip and loved it , I would have found it to much due to arthritic knees We also went on a submarine ( doesn't really submerge ) which was a great way for mu husband who isn't a swimmer the marine life , well worth the trip I would not recommend it in August for very young children especially babies and if you do go put on shorts and a tea shirt to keep them safe especially in the sea as salt water burns We met some very lovely people who have become friends I will be returning to this Hotel again even with all the steps down to Narma Bay and the sea , it is lovely and the staff great Cant wait to go back So please ignore the bad reports and give it a go and be nice to the staff and they will be nice back, a smile doesn't cost us any thing but can be very rewarding , They have taken some abuse from us British people who seem to think they are beneath us , they aren't they are just hard working folk like us - in August 10
I would advise people to buy their excursions from the guys at the massage station NOT the rep, and you can barter on the price too All in all the hotel is 20 years old and is one of the 1st that was built in the area, the staff are great and hardworking, a little more entartainment would have been great, the food was basic and repetative but all in all we think we got what we paid for. - in July 10
The staff are great, the beach boys - Memo, Mohammed International and Adam are great, initially they will sell you massages, henna tattoos, excursions etc but once that is out of the way, they always have a laugh and a smile for the guests and we often joined them for a drink in the evenings. - in November 09

15am , Found out from the manager a few days later that they were told to behave or else , also heard that they were very rude to staff and demeaning the bar staff, made me feel ashamed that they were from Britain The food was lovely a better choice than Turkey again and fresh , around four different courses to choose from at each meal time The Restaurant Manager Mustave is a gem amongst gems he is very professional and has only been back at the hotel for a month after being away for a few years I only found two nights where i was not keen on some things , but that is because i am not a great pasta or pizza eater and am trying to loose weight , but the rice was lovely as was the soups The pool, well what can I say except that these guys could come show our local pool staff how to clean a pool , it was cleaned every night and again in the morning , filters changed several times during the day , as a keen swimmer I was so pleased to swim in a lovely clean pool I did go down with tummy cramps and the runs , this was after a day of wonderful scuba diving , I have done one before and had started my paddi here in Scotland , but the marine life in the red sea is fantastic and will go back to do my water dives out there But I was drinking very cold drinks and the heat was intense that day , I had been drinking hot coffee several times a day up to then to keep my insides warm as drinking very cold drinks all day is not good for you , but that day had had none , The manager of the hotel was great he got me peppermint tea to calm the cramps down , advised me and checked on what foods to eat for a few days and told us what tablets to get from the chemist "Buscapol " which you can get from over here as well to take with you We tipped the cleaners and the pool guy who put towels out for us , (but if there is not enough sun beds he will get some ) as well as the bar and restaurant staff , we had saved up our £2 coins to take with us for this very purpose I loved the snorkelling from the jetty it was fantastic , I saw a barracuda ,Lion fish and many many more ,the Parrot fish big green ( female ) ones were my favourite and the kids from the hotel loved it as well , only wished i could have the children I child mind for there to take them they would love it My husband , son , daughter her partner and his son all went on a Dune buggy trip and loved it , I would have found it to much due to arthritic knees We also went on a submarine ( doesn't really submerge ) which was a great way for mu husband who isn't a swimmer the marine life , well worth the trip I would not recommend it in August for very young children especially babies and if you do go put on shorts and a tea shirt to keep them safe especially in the sea as salt water burns We met some very lovely people who have become friends I will be returning to this Hotel again even with all the steps down to Narma Bay and the sea , it is lovely and the staff great Cant wait to go back So please ignore the bad reports and give it a go and be nice to the staff and they will be nice back, a smile doesn't cost us any thing but can be very rewarding , They have taken some abuse from us British people who seem to think they are beneath us , they aren't they are just hard working folk like us - in October 09

I paid for a 4* hotel and got what i feel to be a 1* hotel,Pool dangerous,no kids entertainment,no video games for the kids,no playground,1 billiards table. - in September 10
To sum up, the pool is dangerous, the pool steps are currently cordoned off because they are all unfit for use, their are broken tiles all over the pool and it is very dangerous, the food is disgusting and repetative, the rooms are too small for a family, their is only one bar for the whole of the hotel.

The Ugly- The air conditioning unit sounds as though it has a small tractor engine in it, there are not enough sun loungers around the pool, so many people put their towels on them at the crack of dawn and then go back to bed and turn up at the pool at 2pm, unless you want to bribe the pool attendant and he will reserve your sun loungers even if you dont use them.
