The old forge is a great nice, in the forest convenient hotel, the you can recommend if you want to get a 'break' needs as it is a bit out of the way, you need a car, but you really can quickly get to Salzburg and the surrounding area. The staff are very friendly, attentive and all are very dog friendly. We were with our two large dogs and every day had a clean room. The breakfast was adequate and good. Converted blacksmith with great atmosphere. The Hotel manager very hard, that no guest on something is missing. The location in the forest allows even on hot days a relaxing night's sleep with pleasant temperature. The hotel has several small animals including peacocks, as early risers we'll take the wake-up call. We enjoyed the but didn't bother us. Read more
