Summit platform TOP OF TYROL
WildWater Scenic Spot TOP OF TYROL 3,210 m
Three cableways whisk us up to lofty peaks at over 3,000 meters above sea level! The new summit platform juts nine meters out into the abyss from the ridge of the Grosser Isidor at 3,210 m above sea level. This vantage point with 360° views of the Tyrolean mountain world is only a 10-minute walk away from the Schaufeljoch mountain terminal along a well built path. As a WildWater location the TOP OF TYROL summit platform provides a good introduction to the WildWaterTrail with fascinating views of the surrounding glaciers. Return along the signposted Stubai Glacier trail to the Eisgrat mountain terminal - Gamsgarten mountain terminal - Dresdner hut. From the TOP OF TYROL, the water divide between the Ötztal and Stubai, you simply follow the watercourse down to the valley. Enjoy close-up views of glacier features: big moraine ridges and glacial abrasions hint at the enormous extent of the Alpine glaciers.

very beautiful, family-friendly hotel with personal speech. The food is excellent. The distance to the ski lift is not relevant in this respect, because the hotel with the glacier cable car stubai and a extra ski bus to the guests drives. After a successful day on the slopes, the guests an afternoon buffet available, which I rarely seen. We were for the first time in the happy. The hotel is really in the best interests of food, friendliness, cleanliness, everything was perfect. The downside is the location. Half hour drive up to the glacier ski is a must. Unfortunately, there were only two buses daily from the station with the hotel. All other walk! A toboggan run ends nearby of the hotel. Read more

The hotel is a little remote. The hotel's own ski bus goes unfortunately too late and too early at, which is why you are on the 'right' car or bus in the village is centre. Unfortunately, there were stains on our room and the interior wall with one hundred already very simple and older. For a four stars hotel not appropriate.
